In current times we are fortunate to have access to many resources from various health modalities for our mental and physical wellbeing. The goal of this session is to ensure that as a Yoga community we are confident and well versed to reference Yoga as an ancient Indian system of wholistic healthcare that leads to inner peace. Let us be reminded that the state of Yoga according to Patanljai and the Bhagavad Gita is one where our body is free of resistance, our breath long and subtle and our mind seated in an evenness that is unaffected by the external world.
Learning Outcomes ● We will visit textual references from Patanjali yoga sutra and the Bhagavad Gita that empower us to understand the causes of our disturbances and to explore the myriad of ways each of us can choose a path to link to the state of Yoga. ● We are the keepers of this ancient tradition that helps us to understand ourselves and offers unlimited techniques and lifestyle approaches to maintain equilibrium
