Sandra is a Registered Psychologist, 500-hour + trained Yoga Teacher and a certified iRest® teacher. She was drawn to yoga by the calmness and clarity it provided her and is curious about the interface of yoga and psychology to support well-being. She is on a lifelong journey to lead a slower, less stressed, more embodied and mindful life fuelled by her practices. She is a guest tutor at Yoga teacher trainings in Auckland, integrates yoga and psychology in her private practice as a psychologist, and teaches iRest and Trauma Sensitive Yoga classes under ACC sensitive claims.
Her focus is on teaching accessible, trauma-informed, slow yoga practices which support healing and awareness of self. She has developed an online Yoga & Wellbeing platform to share these practices in an accessible way (www.integrativetherapy.co.nz).
